Limits are enforced in real time. The in-app billing page always reflects the latest quotas for your plan.

What happens when you reach your question limit

Questions are counted per calendar month (UTC) and include questions from visitors and from AI agents. The count resets on the 1st.

UsedWhat happens
80%A banner in the dashboard and an email to the site owner.
100% (paid plans)The assistant keeps answering for a 20% grace margin. Banner and email again, with how many questions are left.
100% (Free) or 120% (paid)The assistant is hidden from your site until the 1st or until you upgrade. Visitors see no error message: the widget simply isn't shown. The site owner gets an email, and the dashboard shows how many page views went without it.

While the assistant is hidden, the widget writes a warning to the browser console for your developers, sends a widget_suppressed event to your Google Analytics, and AI agents calling it get a 402 response with {"error":"quota_exceeded"}. Paid plans also see the number of missed page views in the Monday Brief.
