Answer trust controls Business

Answer trust controls let you decide how confident retrieval must be before the assistant answers. If confidence is below the selected threshold, AskVio returns a safe fallback instead of a speculative response.

Where to find it

Open App → Data → Answer trust controls.

How it works

1. Enable switch: turn Answer trust controls On/Off.
   • Off: no trust gate is applied (equivalent to threshold 0).
   • On: AskVio enforces a retrieval confidence threshold.
2. Select a preset level:
   • Low (0.65): returns more answers, less strict.
   • Medium (0.75): balanced behavior.
   • High (0.85): strictest preset.
3. Optional custom threshold (Business+): move the slider or edit numeric value for an exact threshold between 0 and 1. Using custom value switches to custom mode.
4. Save trust controls to persist in Test, then publish to promote to Production.

Plan availability

• Free: control is visible but locked (upgrade to Pro+ required).
• Pro: On/Off switch + preset Low/Medium/High.
• Business / Enterprise: full access including custom threshold slider.

Fallback behavior

When top retrieval confidence is below the active threshold, AskVio returns:

I'm not able to reply with confidence based on the available information.
