Answer trust controls Pro

Answer trust controls set how closely your content must match a question before the assistant answers. Below the threshold, AskVio doesn't attempt an answer: it gives a safe reply and records the question as a failed search, so you can see which content is missing.

Where to find it

Open Security → Trust controls.

How it works

  • Off: no threshold. The assistant still answers only from your content, and says so when nothing relevant was found.
  • On, with a preset: Low (0.65) answers more often, Medium (0.75) is balanced, High (0.85) is the strictest.
  • Custom threshold (Business and above): any value between 0 and 1.

Changes are saved to Test; publish with Save to prod to apply them on your site.

Plan availability

  • Free: visible but locked.
  • Pro: On/Off and the three presets.
  • Business and above: also the custom threshold.

A higher threshold means fewer, safer answers and more failed searches in Intelligence. Start with Medium and adjust after a week of real questions.
